As a Leader, You are Constantly Teaching

Leaders are always teaching.  Whether we want to admit it, hate it, or choose not to believe it, Leaders are constantly giving their organizations and the people within both positive and negative examples.  Most importantly, those same people are learning from their Leaders.  They may not speak of it outwardly, but they are learning as they watch.

If you are reading this, you are a Leader in your organization.

You are constructing the work ethic via your example.

You are setting the work discipline via your example.

You are clarifying the expectations via your example.

You are demonstrating collaboration and teamwork via your example.

You are defining what a true professional consists of via your example.

That hits home hard.

What are three basic keys to being a strong Leader in your organization and/or department?

  1. Live Intentionally – with a purpose. Realize that nothing in Life that is beautiful is easy.  Make deliberate choices and live with those consequences.  Always believe Big.
  2. Value People – be an individual that is safe for others to go to. Think of ways to add massive value to others.  Do this on a personal level while remaining professional.
  3. Exceed Expectations – make your team believe that “Average” is a cuss word. Be an “….and then some more!” person in your life.

Our Leadership determines our Level of Effectiveness in our organizations.  People love to follow great Leaders.  Be the kind of Leader that you would follow.
